1. What is the Vitamini actually used for?

The Vitamini is designed as a supplement light — it adds extra coverage, fills in shadows, and boosts colour and growth alongside your main lighting.

2. Can I run the Vitamini on its own?

Yes, it can be used as a primary light. However you would need to use 1 for LPS or softer corals and 2 Vitaminis for harder to grow corals. Please remember this liight is built for coverage not punch.

3. Will it help reduce shadows in my tank?

Absolutely. That’s one of the biggest benefits — it spreads light evenly across the tank, helping eliminate dark spots and improving overall balance especially useful with coral shading.

4. Does it improve coral colour or just growth?

Both. The spectrum is tuned to support healthy growth while also enhancing fluorescence and bringing out deeper, more vibrant colours.

5. Is this better than adding another main light?

In many cases, yes. The Vitamini adds smooth, even coverage — which often gives a cleaner overall result and at a different angle to your main source lighting.

6. Where should I position the Vitamini?

Typically running along the length of your tank, or alongside your main light, to widen the spread and improve coverage across the whole aquarium.

7. How many Vitamini units do I need?

It depends on tank size and setup, but most people run one or two to fill gaps and create that full “blanket” of light front to back. Two Vitamini strips is also necessary when your main source of lights are hanging or else it would be unbalanced.

8. Will it blend well with my existing lighting?

Yes — the spectrum is designed to integrate naturally with most reef lighting, helping everything look more balanced rather than overpowering it.

9. Is it suitable for SPS, LPS, and soft corals?

Yes, it supports all coral types. It’s especially useful for SPS tanks where even coverage and strong blue spectrum really matter.

10. What makes the Vitamini different from other LED strips?

It’s designed to deliver smooth, even coverage across the entire tank — not just intense light in narrow areas. The result is a more natural look and better overall balance.
