What is the RMS rail mounting system?

It’s a clean, aluminium side-mounted rail system that allows you to mount your Illumagic lights securely across the tank without hanging from the ceiling or using bulky brackets.

Will the RMS system fit my tank?

RMS rails are designed to suit specific tank lengths. As long as you choose the correct size for your tank, it will mount securely across the rim.

Does it work with rimmed and rimless tanks?

Yes — the mounting clamps are designed to work with most standard aquarium setups. If you have a rimmed/braced tank be sure to grab the euro brace upgrade kit.

Can I adjust the position of the lights on the rail?

Yes. The lights can be positioned and spaced along the rail to suit your layout, giving you flexibility to get even coverage across the tank. Left to right and height adjustable also.

Is it better than hanging the lights?

It comes down to preference. RMS offers a cleaner, more structured look with easy installation, while still allowing great coverage and positioning without needing ceiling mounts.
