FAQ

Why do I need to purchase Pixel power supplies separately?

A: This design helps reduce waste and keeps costs down. By separating power supplies from the lights, you’re not locked into unnecessary hardware when expanding your setup. It gives you the flexibility to add or upgrade Pixels as your system grows, without replacing perfectly good power supplies.

What else do i need with the Pixels?

A: Power supply (single, dual or quad), mounting arm or rails. You can also visit our bundles page for some killer all in one deals

What tank sizes does the Pixel LED suit, and what coverage can I expect?

A: Pixel LEDs are modular and scalable. Each Pixel will suit tanks a coverage area of 18" squared or up to 20 gallons. Simply add more to increase coverage.

Does it come with a warranty?

A: Lifetime warranty on all LEDs (diodes) and lenses, and 2-year warranty on all other parts

Do I need to use your mounts or rails?

A: Yes absolutely. Pixel LEDs must be mounted to our rails or mounts, as they are designed to function as a heat sink. This keeps the light running cooler, improves long-term stability, and is what allows us to confidently offer our lifetime warranty.

What's the best mounting height?

A: Out of the box, the Pixel rear mounts position the light at approximately 15 inches, which provides an ideal balance between coverage and PAR for most setups.

What's the best settings?

A: Pixel LEDs keep things simple — the spectrum is fixed and does not change. The scheduler adjusts brightness only for smooth sunrise and sunset transitions. If you want custom colour blending, you can combine different Pixel spectrums across your setup. Scheduler sold separately.

Reef lighting without the nonsense.

The Illumagic Pixel gives reef keepers serious coral colour, strong PAR, and a lifetime lens warranty — without paying for Wi-Fi, fancy packaging, or features you may never use. Start with one, add more as your reef grows.

A Spectrum For Everyone

A use case for anyone. The same silicone lenses that come with a lifetime warranty. Designed for versatility. The perfect circle, with a diameter of only 4.15" and paper thin at 1.06". Slide the Pixel along your rail system. Add more units as your aquariums or corals grow bigger. Rail Sliders Included! Choose between 4 spectrums, REEFER (balanced), AQUASCAPER (freshwater), REFUGIUM (macro algae) and FRAGGER (super blues).

Select how many Pixels you need — you can always add more later.

Choose a power supply to suit your current setup or future expansion. For example, a Quad Power Supply can run 1, 2, 3, or 4 Pixels, giving you flexibility as you grow.

Finally, choose your mounting option. Pixels can be rear-mounted individually or slid onto rails. Rail sliders are included free with every Pixel.

Diffusion by refraction (DBR) lens technology. But who cares about fancy names, we let our warranty do the talking. Lifetime warranty on every single Illumagic lens ever sold. This goes across all of our LED lighting range.

And with a crystal clear lens comes zero loss of PAR. Efficient just got even more efficient!

REMEMBER  The Pixels need both a power supply (single, dual or quad) and also a mounting system (rear or rail). Please be sure to hit the live chat button if you have any questions.

I wanted to make a refugium in my Water box aoi 65 gallon tank. This Pixel is perfect as you can see! I am a big Dalua fan as I have the Mini Beast Setup as seen in Mr. Saltwater tank video with dalua. Awesome products you need these lights!

Pixel bundle As someone who loves Nano Reef Tanks, I will say the pixels are Value for money. Switching to the Pixel fragger was a game changer and the difference was instantly clear. Installation was simple and my tank and corals loved it so much that I added the Pixel Reefer. Will definitely recommend oh it also comes with a lifetime warranty.

Customer video review of Illumagic Pixel

Im a 25 year veteran Reef Keeper and I know a good product when I see one. The Dalua Illumagic Pixel is hands down the easiest and best looking light Ive tried for a nano/pico sized system. Multiples for larger systems look just as good. Life time warranty, YUS! NO FRIGGIN APP!!! YUUUUUUUUUS! Plug and play, push a few buttons to set your schedule and let it cook. My little wine glass pico is loving it as you can see! Logan, from Reef Rookies with Logan. **Disclaimer - they did not pay me to say this, this is my own opinion having used the light for quite some time now!**

Awesome led light! The Uv makes the coral pop. Simplicity at its best. I have 8 pixels total and I’m planing to install on my 220 gallon.

Fragger and reefer combo is fire!!!

Illumagic Pixel

Customer video review of Illumagic Pixel

Love the Dalua products. My light set up runs 2 fragger and 1 reef units on a hanging rail with 2 dimmer units. I’m also running the wave maker in my tank and will be adding a second unit shortly.

Customer photo review of Illumagic Pixel

The plant growth, and color pop of the fish are amazing using the Pixel. The plug and play concept is great for that simple low-maintenance tank, had the light installed and running in about 10 minutes.

Customer photo review of Illumagic Pixel

Amazing light for the price! You can't beat them. Initially started off with the Fragger, later on purchased a reefer, the color mixing on both on a single arm is phenomenal. No issues with either lights. Corals are happy, I'm happy.

Illumagic Pixel

Great product proven quality

Illumagic Pixels

These have been my favorite lights. between the ease of use and set up and the customer service.

Illumagic Pixels

Pixels are by far the best reef light that I have used. I've had Radions, Primes, and now Pixels. They're exactly as advertised: no frills and easy to set up and use. My corals look amazing under these lights.

Illumagic Pixels

Absolutely gorgeous color depth and a 10 of the price of the big guys

Illumagic Pixel

Can't show it off yet. Build in progress but I like it

Illumagic Pixel

IM ALREAY WAITING FORM MINE, ILL SHOW YOU LATER

Illumagic Pixel

IM ALREADY WAITING FOR MINE, ILL SHOW IT INMEDIATLY

Illumagic Pixel

These lights are the ducks nuts for aquariums. They give such a natural sunlight look through the water and the team at Dalua couldn't be more helpful or accommodating. I highly recommend there products for both freshwater and Saltwater aquariums. You definately wont be disappointed.

Illumagic Pixel

Works great just wish I had know I needed it extra to many options to go through why can't you just make a kit stand and all for one price

Illumagic Pixel

Çok teşekkür ederim harika bir ürün

Illumagic Pixel

Very good light for the money my corals have responded well to it I have them on 2 separate reef tanks.

Illumagic Pixel

I would give it 5 stars if the power supply had not burned out, I am not saying that it is all Dalua's fault, but I would indicate or warn that it is best to mount the lights on their rail. I will continue to buy from you because the lights are great. Thanks

Illumagic Pixel

Store owner replied: Hey there sorry to here! Yes it is absolutely compulsory to mount the pixels on aluminium rails or rear mounts. The ones we make are built specifically for that purpose.

everything was straight forward and easy to install

Illumagic Pixel

Extremely easy to use and set. my only wish was that the output cord was longer so i can install the controller under the stand with my other equipment controllers. if they had a wifi controller that would be even better

Illumagic Pixel

can't change spectrums, but sunrise sunset is good and cheap enough to buy 2

Illumagic Pixel

I like the lights, they look nice and they are over my zoa frag tanks. Not enough time for propagation so can’t comment any farther. The only thing I’m unhappy with as of yet is the cord length for running multiples. They are short and hard to hide on my setup, they only span about 14” so running a double lowboy and two per is impossible with just their cords all though you can order some extensions on Amazon, still it’s frustrating to say the least.

Illumagic Pixel

Reefer spectrum chosen, a little white but very good design, serves its purpose well, happy with the purchase

Illumagic Pixel

Solid build quality worth every penny spent, definitely impressed

Illumagic Pixel

Great product, exceeded expectations, highly recommended

Illumagic Pixel

Crazy bright, better than all my other more expensive lights
