CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Preparation

  • Clean the Surfaces:Ensure the surfaces you are bonding are clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or any other contaminants. Use a brush or cloth to clean the surfaces if necessary.
  • Protect Your Hands:Wear gloves to avoid skin contact with the epoxy putty, as it can be irritating to some people.

2. Mixing the Epoxy Putty

  • Measure Equal Parts:Measure equal amounts of Part A and Part B. Each part should be 50% of the total mixture you intend to use. For example, if you need 10 grams of putty, take 5 grams of Part A and 5 grams of Part B.
  • Knead the Putty:Combine the measured amounts of Part A and Part B.Knead them together thoroughly until the mixture is uniform in color. This usually takes about 3-5 minutes. There should be no streaks of either part.

3. Application

  • Apply the Mixture:Apply the mixed putty to the surfaces you wish to bond. Press firmly to ensure good contact and adhesion.
  • Shape and Adjust:Shape and adjust the putty as needed within the first few minutes of application. You have a working time of about 20-30 minutes before the putty begins to harden.
  • Smooth the Surface:Use a wet finger or a tool to smooth out the putty and remove any excess. This will help achieve a neat and professional finish.

4. Curing

  • Allow to Cure:Allow the ScapeBond to cure undisturbed. Initial curing will take about 2 hours, but full strength will be reached in 24 hours.
  • Check the Bond:After the curing period, check the bond to ensure it is solid and secure before applying any load or pressure.

5. Cleanup

  • Clean Tools and Hands:Clean any tools and your hands with soap and water immediately after use, before the epoxy putty hardens.

WIO ScapeBond Epoxy Putty

WIO ScapeBond is engineered for creators who demand precision, strength, and reliability — a professional-grade epoxy putty designed to securely bond hardscape elements in aquariums, terrariums, paludariums, and naturalistic displays. Its two-part formula blends into a smooth, uniform putty that molds effortlessly, offering the flexibility needed for intricate scapes and the stability required for long-term builds.

Under shaping pressure, ScapeBond kneads into a pliable, workable medium with a generous 20–30 minute working window — ideal for adjusting angles, strengthening joints, or sculpting support structures. As it cures, the putty transitions from soft and shapeable to firm and structural, achieving initial hardness in just 2 hours and full strength within 24 hours. Once cured, it becomes a durable, rock-solid bond capable of supporting layered stones, vertical structures, and custom formations.

Use ScapeBond exactly as you would in advanced hardscaping: measure equal amounts, knead until the color becomes uniform, then press into contact points between stones, wood, or decorative elements. Shape edges cleanly, support weight-bearing areas, and refine contours with a wet tool or finger. ScapeBond blends seamlessly into natural layouts and ensures your design remains stable, secure, and maintenance-friendly.
